In Town. In Style.

Where the Mountains Meet the Sea: mingling  maritime heritage, working waterfront, historic architecture, and upscale chic.

We believe in town would offer more integration with the world. Our internal inquiry would be balanced with plenty of outward interaction; the built environment bustling with locals and visitors alike.

Choosing the town of Camden as our gathering site would allow for strolls along the water, meals as smaller groups in the fantastic eateries. To increase shared social time as a larger group, we could opt for catered group meals or cocktails on the roof deck of 16 Bayview, which offers sweeping views of the Camden Harbor and surrounding Camden Hills.

Our lodging and event space would be provided by two of the three Bayview Collection properties in downtown Camden, Maine: The Lord Camden Inn and 16 Bayview. Event space would utilize the ground floor of 16 Bayview; a large meeting room with plenty of flexibility. Guest rooms would be at either 16 Bay View or The Lord Camden Inn, depending on number of attendees and their preference.

While both hotels are exquisite, they each have distinctive character. The Lord Camden Inn has a more traditional New England feel and has existed as a destination hotel matching the quaint seaside town for many decades. 16 Bayview is a much more recent renovation. It reflects the region’s evolution toward greater sophistication while remembering its roots in fishing, agriculture, maritime endeavors, and forestry.

Being in town will offer easy access to many activities, including the possibility of chartering the two-masted Schooner Olad for an afternoon sail, conversations in the stunning Camden Amphitheater, and of course the myriad exceptional restaurants.

16 Bayview

16 Bayview is the latest addition to Camden's small offering of independent hotels. Distinctive features include a location at the public landing, a rooftop deck and private bar overlooking the harbor, town, and surrounding hills, spacious flexible meeting space, and luxurious rooms blending modern comforts and historic touches. For social activities with the whole group we could choose catered meals onsite or to open the roof deck as a cash bar.

Lord Camden Inn

An established property on Camden's Main Street. The Lord Camden Inn has long welcomed visitors to the area with its more traditional New England style. Rooms here are slightly less expensive and the hotel lacks event or social spaces.
